About Me!
My creative journey began in 2019, and took a new direction during the COVID-19 pandemic, when I used the time to explore painting. I started with acrylics and gradually transitioned to oils, developing a deep appreciation for the artistic process. Over the years, I expanded my skills into other crafts, including wood burning and wood carving.
Nature has always been a source of inspiration for me—especially minerals, crystals, and wood. I find great joy in combining these natural elements to create unique, meaningful pieces. Now, I’ve launched this business to share that joy with others and connect with a new audience through my love of crystals, woodworking, and painting.
You will see the tree of life used a lot in my designs. The tree of life is highly symbolic for me. It was my first tattoo- exactly one year from the date of remission from breast cancer. I have been cancer free now over 15 years- and having cancer, going through that experience, changed my outlook on life. I have since then changed the way i do everything- and for the better. I have learned much over the years. and like my first tattoo- I was reborn through cancer.
The tree of life also has many more obvious reasons to love the symbolism. The Tree of Life is one of those symbols that shows up across cultures because it speaks to something universal. At its heart, it represents connection, growth, and the balance between being rooted and reaching outward. The roots symbolize your foundation—your ancestry, experiences, and the things that ground you. The trunk reflects strength, stability, and the journey you’re on. The branches stretch upward and outward, symbolizing learning, expansion, and all the different paths your life can take. And the leaves or fruit often represent wisdom, renewal, and the ongoing cycles of life.
People are drawn to it because it’s a reminder that you’re part of something bigger, constantly growing while still deeply connected to where you come from.
As a self-taught artist, I'm on a continuous journey of learning and growth. While I don't have all the techniques mastered yet, each piece I create reflects my passion and progress. I embrace imperfections, and that's why I offer a special selection of 'oops' items—unique pieces with character, ready to find their home.
Imperfections in the 'oops' section showcase the beauty of handmade art. These pieces, with their minor mistakes, tell a story of the creative process and offer unique character.
Each one is a testament to the artist's journey, making them truly one-of-a-kind treasures, full of value and character. The items on this page are discounted, and will have different selections from time to time so be sure to give this page a look.
Art is a deeply personal and meditative journey for me. It offers a space where I can quiet my mind and fully immerse myself in the creative process. It’s more than just making something beautiful—it’s a form of therapy, a way to heal and reconnect with myself.
As someone diagnosed in adulthood with CPTSD and depression, art has become a powerful tool in my healing journey. It allows me to explore new sides of who I am and teaches me how to be mindful, present and at peace with my own thoughts. Through painting, carving, and creating, I’ve found a way to process, reflect, and grow—and I’m grateful for what the creative path continues to reveal.
